Meet your teacher
I hold a Master’s degree in German as a foreign language, and I’ve been teaching for over ten years at language schools and universities in Germany and abroad. As a multilingual, I know exactly what challenges learners face when studying a new language. My classes are not only educational but fun. I firmly believe that language learning should be motivating to ensure students’ success.
My teaching approach is communicative, intercultural and learner-centered. The courses cater to each student in order to ensure the best possible outcome.
Are you interested in communicative, entertaining and motivating classes with a native speaker? Then you came to the right place.

What Students Are Saying
“
As my first German language teacher, Ms. Markou shaped my language skills. I participated in her classes in the B1 German language level in 2015. Ms. Markou has clear teaching strategies and implements them efficiently in the courses. She enthusiastically monitors students' learning and provides re-teaches when required. She continuously motivates the students and communicates with them very politely and friendly. Her time management and scheduling were totally effective.

I got to Germany being able to speak just a few words after learning for one year. After taking classes with Tonia for one semester, I was able to engage in conversations with people. She is a great teacher and her classes are delightful.

Frau Markou is a professional teacher. She lets the students ask many questions and gives very clear explanations. We had a lot of exercises for grammar and conversation and we made progress every day. I highly recommend Frau Markou as your teacher for those of you who need to make improvement in German.
